NanoCarb ESRs on tour to present their work

In the last weeks, seven of our ESRs presented their research at various conferences in Ireland, France and Portugal.

From the 13th to the 16th of June, Daniela, Nicole and Panos attended the 2022 edition of the Bordeaux Polymer Conference (BPC2022), in Bordeaux, France. Daniela and Panos presented their poster titled “Glycosylated Nanoparticles by SET-LR-PISA” and “Poly(vinyl alcohol) molecular bottlebrushes nucleate ice”. Nicola presented her work on glycopolymers and on the effect core and surfactant comparability has on the resulting nanoparticle size. Still in France, on that same week, but in Paris, Eva and Jennifer both did oral presentations at the international conference and exhibition NanoTech France from the 15th to 17th of June.

Our ESRs also attended scientific events in Portugal. Javier presented a poster on his work on N-glycan purification at the microbial glycobiology conference organized by The Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology (FASEB) in Lisbon, Portugal, from the 12th to 16th of June. A few days later, during the 17th annual event of the European Technology Platform on Nanomedicine (ETPN), on the 22th of June, Avelino also presented a poster about his research on on ultrasmall gold nanoparticles. A poster that was also presented a week earlier at the at the Medicinal Chemistry Ireland conference at NUI Galway.
